About Us

Bridget Daly and Shannon Ninburg, two experienced art educators in Seattle Washington, had often been approached by parents looking for a way to encourage art enthusiasm in their kids; dedicated moms and dads who knew the academic advantages that accompany art activity and wanted to create with their kids, but lacked the confidence to start.

Responding to the clear need for at‐home guided art activities, combined with an understanding of everyone's busy schedule, Bridget and Shannon developed the Eye Can Art concept: high-quality, no-sweat, everything-included art kits that spark open-ended artistic exploration.

As teachers, they took the most successful projects from their classrooms and turned them into easy-to-use kits that teach real art techniques and basic art concepts. All Eye Can Art kits come with clear, illustrated instructions, are packaged in beautiful reusable canisters, and provide the materials to try the project multiple times.

There are currently eight styles in the Eye Can Art line: Collage Print Making Kit, Sumi-e Ink Painting Kit, Layered Wax Drawing Kit, Book in a Box Kit, Pastel Stencil Kit, Amate Cut Paper Kit and, just released this year, the Sketch Foam Print Making Kit and the Fabric Sun Photo Kit.

Each of these unique styles has been given at least one coveted industry award: Education.com, Tillywig, Parent's Choice Recommended, Parent's Choice Silver, Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Seal, Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum, and Creative Child Magazine's Toy of the Year Award.

Eye Can Art kits are assembled in Redmond, Washington of US and imported components.

From it's inception in 2007 to today, Eye Can Art kits have quickly and steadily moved from a few local stores to specialty toy stores, museum shops, art supply stores, gift stores, and on-line shops across the USA and Canada.

Eye Can Art kits answered parent's need for fun, high-quality art instruction. Now Eye Can Art asks the question: What's in your imagination?
