Small Art Company Launches New Packaging for Their Creative, Award‑Winning Art Kits

[Seattle, WA] -- [August 18, 2010] - Bridget Daly and Shannon Ninburg of Eye Can Art are proud to announce that they are re-releasing their four classic art kits with a new look that features whimsical, colorful collage animals designed by artist Sara Barnes. The kits are still packaged in recyclable, reusable cans and still contain high quality art materials that can be used multiple times. The new labels provide pictures of all the supplies included, as well as examples of finished artworks made from the kit . The newly packaged kits are scheduled to hit the shelves the third week of August.

Eye Can Art co-owner, Bridget Daly says, "Our kits encourage creative play for kids and adults. We designed the label to show art made by both older and younger people, while providing more information for the shopper."

Eye Can Art is a small business based out of Seattle. Owners Bridget and Shannon believe that both kids and adults deserve creative activities at home that spark enthusiasm for art. Respecting these ideals, Eye Can Art Kits include clear instructions that teach real art concepts such as line, shape and value. The kits are safe, easy to use, and provide a meaningful and imaginative project that can be enjoyed with friends and family members, or individually.

Rachel Hobson of Craftzine blog raved about Eye Can Art saying, "Working on this kit with my daughter was such a beautiful, simple pleasure, the best kind of all. She loved it, I loved it, and we both learned something while we spent valuable time together."

Eye Can Art currently has four kits, each of which has won at least one prestigious toy award. The kits are designed for ages 4 to 94 and are priced between $24-$25 each. They include the Printmaking Kit, the Wax Drawing Kit, the Sumi-e (Japanese Brush) Painting Kit, and the Book in a Box Kit. Eye Can Art is also excited to announce that two brand-new art kits will be released in the fall as part of their new "Art Class" series.

The new dynamic packaging reflects Eye Can Art’s growth over the past three years as these all-inclusive art kits can now be purchased at over 100 stores and museum shops locally and nationally. The kits are also available online at "http://www.eyecanart.com"
